MELBOURNE - Sep 5/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Tuesday: WARNING SUMMARY: Strong Wind Warning for the Far West, West, South Central and South East Coasts and Gulf waters south of Cowell to Sellicks Beach.. An Advice to Sheep Graziers has been issued for the South East district for Tuesday. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers developing about the West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula and Kangaroo Island late this evening, extending over the remaining agricultural areas and the Northeast Pastoral south of Marree Tuesday morning. Showers tending scattered over the southern agricultural area and Mid North during Tuesday morning, contracting to the Lower South East in the afternoon and becoming isolated in the evening. Possible isolated thunderstorms developing over Lower Eyre Peninsula and Kangaroo Island late this evening, extending over the southern Fleurieu Peninsula and South East district Tuesday morning with possible small hail. Thunderstorms clearing from the west on Tuesday to be clear of the state by late afternoon. Moderate to fresh north to northwesterly winds, becoming fresh to strong about the coast this evening ahead of a fresh to strong southwest change over western coasts later this evening and remaining coasts overnight. Warm in the far northeast, otherwise cool to mild.
