MELBOURNE - Sep 2/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Kalbarri to SA Border.
Forecast for Friday    evening
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms south of a line Augusta to Leonora
to Caiguna, contracting to south of a line Bremer Bay to Leonora to Eyre by
midnight. Small hail possible in southeastern coastal parts. Moderate falls
possible in western and southeastern parts, with showers easing over western
parts during the evening.
Isolated showers southwest of Learmonth to Meekatharra, contracting to coastal
parts south of Shark Bay in the evening. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms through the southeast Gascoyne and Goldfields, with isolated
showers extending from the Goldfields into the southern Interior. Isolated
thunderstorms and showers in the Eucla.
Forecast for Saturday
Isolated thunderstorms and scattered showers clearing the Southeast Coastal
District early morning. Isolated showers SW of Geraldton to Lake Grace to
Israelite Bay, contracting to be SW of Jurien Bay to Albany by the evening.
Southeastern Interior and eastern Eucla: Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms, clearing by the afternoon.
