MELBOURNE - Sep 1/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Gale Warning for coastal waters from Mandurah to Bremer Bay.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters between Kalbarri and Mandurah and Bremer
Bay to Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Thursday  evening
Southwest of a line Geraldton to Albany: Isolated showers developing about
western parts of the Southwest district and the coastal parts of the Lower West
district during the afternoon,  extending throughout during the evening.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over western parts of the Southwest
district during the afternoon, extending to southwest of a line Lancelin to
Albany overnight.
Forecast for Friday
The SW Gascoyne, the Goldfields and western Eucla:
Isolated showers extending from the southwest during the day, tending scattered
with isolated thunderstorms over the SE Gascoyne, Goldfields and far western
Eucla. Mainly light falls, some moderate falls possible over the SE Gascoyne and
the Goldfields.
Central West district and northern Central Wheat Belt: Scattered showers easing
to isolated during the morning. Mainly light falls.
Remaining SW Land Division: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms with
small hail possible, showers easing to isolated from the west during the
afternoon and evening. Some moderate to heavy falls possible in western
districts.
