Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 29/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front is moving across southeastern New South Wales and low pressure trough is deepening over the northeast. The trough will weaken on Tuesday as a high pressure system moves south of the Bight extending a ridge to the north coast. During Saturday and Sunday another frontal system is expected to move through the state.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers in the far southeast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to northwest winds in the northeast. South to southwest change in the west and southeast.Tuesday 30 AugustIsolated showers with in the northeast tending scatted near the coast and on adjacent ranges, the Chance of thunderstorms. Isolated showers on the south and central coasts and on adjacent ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southwest to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 31 AugustIsolated showers on the northern half of the coast. Mostly sunny in the remainder. Southwest to southeasterly winds.Thursday 1 SeptemberIsolated coastal showers. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southwest to southeasterly winds.Friday 2 SeptemberIsolated showers coastal showers andadjacenta ranges possibly extending to the western slopes. Partly cloudy in the remainder.
