Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 27/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak high pressure ridge lies over central and southern NSW and a weak trough now lies off the north coast resulting in mostly fine conditions expected across NSW today. A cold front is expected to cross the state on Monday with isolated showers possible for most southern districts. A high pressure system is then likely to extend across the state.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers about the north coast and ranges. Chance of a little early drizzle about central parts of the coast. Possible isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the western slopes of the central ranges and the adjacent plains. Areas of morning fog on the coast and ranges, and about the North West Slopes and Plains. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frost patches on the southern and central ranges. Generally light winds.Monday 29 AugustIsolated showers on the north coast and in the far southeast. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. West to northwest winds ahead of a cooler south to southwest change.Tuesday 30 AugustIsolated showers on the north coast, possibly extending to the central coast and northern ranges at first, then contracting north. Southwest to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 31 AugustPossible isolated showers on the north coast. Fine in the remainder.
