Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 25/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak cold front is moving across far southwestern New South Wales. The front will move through the southeast of the state overnight and then it will weaken into a trough over the northeast on Friday. Another cold front is expected to to cross the state on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayThe chance of showers on the far north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds along the coast, tending northwesterly inland ahead of a late southwesterly change in the southwest.Friday 26 AugustThe chance of showers in the far northeast and on the south coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Saturday 27 AugustScattered showers in the northeast tending widespread near Queensland border. Isolated showers on the south coasts. The chance of thunderstorms in the far northeast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. East to northeasterly winds in the northeast tending southwest to southeasterly elsewhere..Sunday 28 AugustScattered showers on the north coast and ranges, possibly extending to the northwest slopes. Isolated showers on the south and central coasts. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Light winds.Monday 29 AugustIsolated showers on the north coast and in the far southeast. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
