MELBOURNE - Aug 16/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Wednesday: WARNING SUMMARY: Gale Warning for South Central and South East Coasts and a Strong Wind Warning for all remaining Coastal Waters. Sheep Graziers Advice. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Areas of rain and isolated thunderstorms over eastern districts contracting east and clearing by sunrise. Isolated showers persisting south of about Leigh Creek, increasing to scattered showers over the agricultural area. Showers more frequent at times about the Mount Lofty and Flinders Ranges, west coast of Eyre Peninsula and the Lower South East. Isolated thunderstorms and small hail south of Ceduna to Woomera to Broken Hill contracting eastwards later. Cool to cold with fresh northwest to southwest winds extending throughout, strong near the coast and possibly gale force near southern coasts.
