MELBOURNE - Aug 15/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Gale Warning for coastal waters from Geraldton to the SA Border.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Shark Bay to Geraldton.
Sheep Farmers Warning the Southwest, South Coastal and Great Southern districts
and adjacent parts.
Forecast for Monday    evening
SW Land Division: Windy. Scattered showers over western parts, with isolated
showers over the remainder. A period of widespread showers and isolated squally
thunderstorms around the southwest corner, moving eastwards to lie over eastern
parts by tonight. Some small hail possible over southern parts in this evening.
Northeast Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields, northeast Eucla and southwest
Interior: Cloudy with areas of rain.
Remaining Gascoyne and Goldfields, the southern and western Pilbara and the
central Interior: Isolated showers, tending scattered over the southwest
Goldfields in the evening.
Forecast for Tuesday
SW Land Division: Isolated showers about western coastal parts. Scattered
showers about southern coastal districts, with isolated thunderstorms and small
hail possible, gradually contracting eastwards during the day. A period of
isolated showers in the remaining parts for a period from late morning to early
evening.
Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla, contracting to the southwest Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, SW Interior and eastern Eucla by late morning, before clearing early
afternoon: Isolated showers.
Central Interior: Areas of rain, clearing during the afternoon.
