MELBOURNE - Aug 14/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Gale Warning for coastal waters Cape Naturaliste to Bremer Bay.
Strong Wind Warning for remaining coastal waters Geraldton to SA Border.
Forecast for Sunday
Gascoyne, all but southwest of the Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent Interior:
Cloudy with areas of rain, slowly contracting from the southwest in southern
parts.
Far western Pilbara: Scattered showers clearing in the afternoon.
Coastal parts of the Central West: Isolated showers.
Lowest West, Southwest and western South Coastal: Scattered showers.
Southwest of the Goldfields, and remainder of the SW Land Division: Isolated
showers clearing from the west during the afternoon.
Forecast for Monday
Northeast Goldfields, northern Gascoyne, eastern Eucla and adjacent Interior:
Patchy rain easing to isolated showers.
Southwest of the Goldfields and Southeast Coastal: Showers, isolated
thunderstorms and small hail developing from the west in the evening.
Remainder of the SW Land Division: Scattered showers near the west coast, with
isolated showers developing inland during the morning. A band of squally showers
moving from the southwest corner during the morning, to be throughout by
midnight. Isolated squally thunderstorms and small hail possible in and behind
the band south of Jurien Bay.
