MELBOURNE - Aug 8/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For the rest of today and Wednesday: WARNING SUMMARY: Strong Wind Warning for the Far West Coast. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Patchy rain over the western agricultural and south of the Northwest Pastoral districts, extending east to reach central districts north of Adelaide late this evening, before contracting to the eastern border area Wednesday morning and clearing. Isolated showers to follow over the agricultural area and south of the pastoral districts, increasing to scattered southeast of Broken Hill to Port Lincoln. Isolated thunderstorms about the west coast of Eyre Peninsula late this evening and overnight. Isolated morning fog in the east. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to northwest winds, freshening in the west today, then becoming moderate to fresh southwest to southerly on Wednesday.
