Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 30/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge to northwestern New South Wales and a trough is moving across the southeast of the state. A cold front is expected to move through the state during Thursday and Friday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayPatchy rain and isolated showers and thunderstorms over the southeast contracting east. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northwest to northeast winds.Monday 1 AugustThe chance of showers about the western slopes of the southern ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Morning frost and fog. Light to moderate winds, chiefly northwesterly.Tuesday 2 AugustIsolated showers in the southeastern inland. Mostly sunny remainder. Early frost and fog. Light to moderate wind, chiefly northwesterly.Wednesday 3 AugustEarly fog and frost patches inland. Mostly sunny day.
