Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 29/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high centred just off New South Wales coast is expected to remain the dominant feature in the region for the next few days. The high will be drifting very slowly across the Tasman Sea although maintaining a ridge to northern New South Wales. A weakening trough is likely to pass over southern districts during the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayPatchy rain extending east over the southern inland, and possible isolated showers on the far north coast. Morning frost, mostly about the slopes and ranges. Fine elsewhere. Northwest to northeast winds.Sunday 31 JulyPatchy rain or possible isolated showers over southern and central parts contracting to the east during the day. Early frost and fog patches in the east. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Light and variable winds.Monday 1 AugustPossible isolated showers along the north coast and about the western slopes of the far southern ranges. Fine elsewhere. Morning frost and fog. Light to moderate winds, chiefly northwesterly.Tuesday 2 AugustIsolated showers possible for the southern inland. Mostly sunny remainder. Early frost and fog.
