MELBOURNE - Jul 28/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning for people in WA southwest of a line Jurien Bay to
Southern Cross to Israelite Bay.
Gale Warning for coastal waters Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay.
Strong Wind Warning for remaining coastal waters from Kalbarri to S.A. Border.
Forecast for Thursday  evening
SW Land Division: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Showers will
tend widespread west of a line Jurien Bay to Cunderdin to Walpole, and SW of a
line Perth to Bremer Bay expect heavy rainfall with local flash flooding,
widespread damaging winds, and locally dangerous gusts.
Far southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms, extending throughout the Eucla and into the adjacent
Interior in the afternoon.
West Pilbara, remaining Gascoyne and extending into the southern Interior in the
afternoon: Isolated showers.
Forecast for Friday
Possible heavy rainfall with local flash flooding, widespread damaging winds and
locally dangerous gusts SW of a line Jurien Bay to Southern Cross to Israelite
Bay easing during the morning.
SW Land Division: Isolated showers throughout. Showers tending scattered with
isolated thunderstorms near the far southwest coast extending southwest of Perth
to Albany by the afternoon.
Eastern parts of the southeast Coastal district, Goldfields, Eucla and southern
Interior: Isolated morning showers.
Remaining parts southwest of a line Carnarvon to Meekatharra to Esperance:
Isolated showers.
