MELBOURNE - Jul 27/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Severe Weather Warning for people in WA southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer
Bay.
Gale Warning for coastal waters Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay.
Strong Wind Warning for remaining coastal waters from Shark Bay to Israelite
Bay.
Forecast for Wednesday
SW Land Division: Isolated showers near the west coast, ahead of a band of
widespread showers with isolated squally thunderstorms reaching the SW Capes
late afternoon before moving eastwards to lie near Kalbarri to Southern Cross to
Hopetoun by midnight. Near the west coast heavy rainfall with local flash
flooding, widespread damaging winds, and locally dangerous gusts possible.
Scattered showers and isolated squally thunderstorms persisting in the wake of
the band.
Gascoyne: Isolated coastal showers developing. Isolated afternoon and evening
showers and thunderstorms through northwestern, central and southeastern parts.
Western Goldfields: Isolated thunderstorms and showers developing in the
afternoon, extending into the Southeast Coastal district in the evening.
Forecast for Thursday
SW of a line Jurien Bay to Cunderdin to Walpole: Widespread showers and isolated
squally thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall with local flash flooding, widespread
damaging winds, and locally dangerous gusts possible.
Far southern Gascoyne, southern half of the Goldfields, western Eucla, and the
remaining parts of the the SW Land Division: Scattered showers and isolated
squally thunderstorms. SW of a line Perth to Bremer Bay heavy rainfall with
local flash flooding, widespread damaging winds, and locally dangerous gusts
possible.
West Pilbara, remaining Gascoyne, and northern Goldfields, extending into the
eastern Eucla and southern Interior in the afternoon: Isolated showers.
