MELBOURNE - Jul 26/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A low pressure trough moving across the Tasman Sea and a high pressure system near the Bight is moving slowly east extending a ridge to northeastern New South Wales. The high will move over the Tasman Sea during Thursday and then it is expected to move slowly towards New Zealand maintaining the ridge to the northeast of the state. Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers developing on the south and central coasts. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southwest to southeast winds.Wednesday 27 JulyIsolated showers on the central coast. Morning frost, mostly about the west and ranges. Early fog areas, mostly in the west. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southwest to southeast near the coast and light and variable in the remainder.Thursday 28 JulyThe chance of showers on the north coast. Morning frost, mostly about the slopes and ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Light and variable winds.Friday 29 JulyIsolated showers on the far north coast and patchy rain developing in the far southwest later. Cloud increasing elsewhere.
