Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 14/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred west of Tasmania is slowly moving east strengthening a ridge across New South Wales. From Saturday the high will move east of Tasmania and a low pressure trough is expected to develop over the western parts of the state.
Forecast for the rest of FridayPatchy rain along the northern border and isolated coastal showers. Early frost areas, chiefly in the southeast and morning fog patches inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere. East to southeast winds.Saturday 16 JulyAreas of rain in the north. Fine in the southeast. Isolated showers elsewhere. Early frost areas, mostly in the southeast. Southeast to northeast winds.Sunday 17 JulyIsolated showers in most districts, more widespread along the north coast. Early frost areas, mostly in the southeast. East to northeast winds.Monday 18 JulyIsolated showers in most districts. East to northeast winds in the east. South to southwest winds in the west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Friday.Product IDN10031
