This is likely to maintain strong SE winds about the northeast tropical coast and the far northern Gulf, whilst winds should ease over the southern Gulf from Monday afternoon. Isolated showers will also persist about the northeast coast in the onshore flow and extend further south along the coast. The remainder of the state should remain dry on Monday and Tuesday. An upper trough may approach the southwest of the state on Wednesday bringing increasing cloud and possible rain areas to the west and southwest of the state.
