MELBOURNE - Jul 6/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Thursday: WARNING SUMMARY: Strong Wind Warning for the South Central and South East Coasts. Advice to Sheep Graziers for the Mt Lofty Ranges and Lower South East. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers over the far south of the pastoral districts, scattered over the agricultural areas, more frequent at times about the Mt Lofty Ranges and the Lower South East easing this evening. Showers becoming isolated early Thursday morning and contracting to the coast by evening. Patchy light rain north of about Coober Pedy, clearing during this evening. Possible isolated thunderstorms south of about Nuriootpa until late this evening. Possible small hail south of Nuriootpa, contracting to east of the Mt Lofty Ranges and clearing early Thursday morning. Cool to cold with fresh west to northwesterly winds, strong at times about the coast and ranges, turning southwesterly during this afternoon and evening, then turning moderate southerly Thursday.
