MELBOURNE - Jun 25/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system over eastern New South Wales will drift across to the Tasman Sea during the weekend. A weak cold front will cross southern Victoria on Sunday. The next high pressure system will move into western Victoria on Monday before becoming slow-moving over eastern Victoria on Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayMorning fog patches in the north. Drizzle patches about the northeast ranges but dry elsewhere. Cool to mild and partly cloudy. Light to moderate northerly winds.Sunday 26 JuneIsolated showers developing in western and central districts, mainly only on and south of the ranges. Early fog in Gippsland. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh northwest winds shifting west to southwesterly later.Monday 27 JunePossible morning showers in the south, otherwise fine. Cool to mild and mostly sunny with light winds.Tuesday 28 JuneFine after early fog and frost.
