Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 11/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system southeast of the Bight is moving very slowly east extending a ridge across southeastern and northwestern New South Wales. On Sunday a low pressure trough will develop off north coast. The trough will deepen during Monday and a low will develop off the central coast late Tuesday or Wednesday. The low is expected to move rapidly to the southeast during Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayScattered showers along the central and north coast and adjacent ranges. Isolated showers on the south coast. South to southeasterly winds, fresh about the coast and northern and central ranges.Sunday 12 JunePartly cloudy in the southern and central inland. Rain areas in the northeast, with moderate to heavy falls developing near the coast. Isolated showers elsewhere tending scattered on the central coast. South to southeast winds.Monday 13 JunePartly cloudy in the southwest. Rain over the northeast possible heavy at times near the coast. Isolated showers elsewhere tending scattered near the coast. Isolated snow showers on the Alps above 1400 metres. South to southeast winds, fresh near the coast.Tuesday 14 JunePartly cloudy in the southern inland. Rain over the northeast possible heavy at times near the coast. Isolated showers elsewhere tending scattered near the coast. Isolated snow showers on the Alps above 1500 metres.South to southeast winds, gusty near the coast.Wednesday 15 JunePartly cloudy in the southern inland. Rain areas over the northeast possible heavy at times near the coast. Isolated showers elsewhere tending scattered near the coast. Isolated snow showers on the Alps above 1600 metres.
