Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 27/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the southern Tasman Sea in association with a deepening trough to the north of New Zealand, is expected to direct a persistent southeasterly airstream onto the New South Wales coast through to and over the weekend. This pattern will mostly restrict showers to areas east of the Divide.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers about the coast and adjacent ranges, more frequent in the north and central parts. Chance of isolated showers in the far northwest. Fine elsewhere. East to southeast winds.Thursday 28 April
Isolated showers about the coast and adjacent ranges, more frequent in the north and central parts. Southeast to northeast winds.
Dangerous surf conditions developing along the coast north from the Illawarra, hazardous for coastal activities such as swimming, surfing and rock fishing.
Friday 29 April
Isolated showers about the coast and adjacent ranges mostly north from the Illawarra, increasing to scattered on the north coast. Fine elsewhere. East to southeast winds.
