Weather Situation A high pressure system is located over the Tasman Sea and extends a ridge over NSW. A cold front will move across Victoria on Wednesday then a second front will enter western Victoria later Thursday and extend through eastern areas Friday morning. A high pressure system will move over Victoria on Saturday. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayMorning fog patches. Mostly cloudy with isolated showers tending to areas of rain from the west during the day. Rain clearing from the northwest during the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms over the northeast ranges extending to the eastern half of the state in the afternoon. A mild day with light to moderate northwesterly winds shifting west to southwesterly from the west.Fire Danger - Low to moderate.Thursday 21 AprilIsolated showers and drizzle about the northeast inland and east, contracting to the ranges during the day. Chance of an afternoon thunderstorm about the northeast ranges. Isolated showers redeveloping across southern and mountain areas later in the day from the southwest with the next cold front. A mild day with moderate west to northwesterly winds, tending cooler, fresh and gusty westerly.Friday 22 AprilScattered showers on and south of the ranges and isolated showers extending to the northwest inland. Snow falls developing on the east ranges above 1600 metres. Cool with moderate to fresh west to southwest winds.Saturday 23 AprilDrizzle in the south and areas of fog over the inland clearing to a fine and mainly sunny afternoon.
