Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 9/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A complex low centred near Tasmania is expected to remain slow moving during next few days. Associated cold front will slowly advance across the state weakening into a trough off NSW coast on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers along the north coast. Rain areas developing in the southwest. Fine elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds, tending northwesterly in the west. Southwesterly change developing in the far southwest.Sunday 10 AprilRain areas in the south on and west of the ranges, tending lighter and more isolated further north and towards the coast. Chance of showers in the far northeast, chance of thunderstorms near Victorian border in the southwest. West to northwest winds tending north to northeast near the coast. Southwesterly change reaching central parts.Monday 11 AprilIsolated showers for most areas apart from northwest, tending scattered near Victorian border as well as on the central parts of the coast and northern ranges and slopes. Snow on the higher ground of the Snowy Mountains area above 1400 metres. Mostly west to southwesterly winds, north to northwesterly in the far northeast.Tuesday 12 April
Isolated showers in the south on and west of the ranges falling as snow on the Snowy Mountains above about 1600 metres at first. Chance of showers in the northeast. Fine and mostly sunny in the northern inland and on the central and southern coast. Westerly winds and local sea breezes on the northern parts of the coast.
Wednesday 13 AprilIsolated showers in the far south mostly west of the ranges. Fine and mostly sunny remainder. Westerly winds and local sea breezes on the northern parts of the coast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 am EST Sunday.Product IDN10031
