Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 1/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A trough will linger inland on Friday as a weak ridge builds up in Tasman Sea and along the coast. A cold front in the southeast is expected to extend through the remainder of New South Wales today. A high pressure system is then expected to move to the Southern Ocean west of Tasmania where it will remain for several days. This pattern will bring a southwest to southeasterly airstream to the state over the weekend and the coming week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers and thunderstorms in the northeast, decreasing early this morning then redeveloping in the afternoon. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere apart from isolated early showers in the far southeast. South to southwest winds extending throughout.Sunday 3 AprilFine apart from isolated showers on the far north and far south coasts. Southwest to southeast winds.Monday 4 AprilIsolated showers about the coast and adjacent ranges. Fine west of the Divide. Southwest to southeast winds.Tuesday 5 AprilIsolated showers about the coast and adjacent ranges. Fine west of the Divide.
