MELBOURNE - Mar 30/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation During today a trough will move across central New South Wales reaching the far northeast Thursday afternoon. Another trough will move rapidly through the State late Friday and Saturday. A strong high pressure system will be ridging over NSW in a wake of the troughs with the high to be centred south of the Bight on Sunday. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers in the east, contracting north during the day and tending scattered on the parts of the north coast. The chance of thunderstorms from central ranges to the northeast. Mostly sunny remainder. Southerly winds, fresh to strong along the coast.Friday 1 AprilIsolated showers on the north coasts,and ranges. Mostly sunny in the remainder. Southeast to northeast winds tending south to southwest in the west and southeast.Saturday 2 AprilIsolated coastal showers and in the northeastern inland. Mostly sunny in the remainder. South to southwest winds.Sunday 3 AprilIsolated showers along the north coast and on the far south coast. Mostly sunny remainder.
