Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 25/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough will move across Tasman Sea today and on Saturday with a high pressure ridge strengthening over the State in its wake. A high centred south of the Bight will move east over the course of the next few days maintaining the ridge over NSW. A low pressure trough is expected to approach from the west on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayThe chance of showers in the southeast and for parts of Central coast, partly cloudy elsewhere. South to southwest winds freshening on the south and Central coasts.Saturday 26 MarchThe chance of showers along the coast and on the adjacent eastern ranges in the northeast and far southeast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. South to southeast winds.Sunday 27 MarchChance of showers on the northern and central parts of the coast and on adjacent ranges, more likely on the northern coastal fringe. Mostly sunny elsewhere. South to southeast winds.Monday 28 MarchChance of showers on the northern and central parts of the coast and on adjacent ranges, more likely on the north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Tuesday 29 MarchIsolated showers on the northern and central parts of the coast and on adjacent ranges, more likely on the north coast.
