MELBOURNE - Mar 20/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For the rest of today and Monday: WARNING SUMMARY: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is current. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms east of about Wudinna to Oodnadatta tending to areas of rain over the agricultural area today. Local heavy falls about eastern parts, contracting to the southeast early Monday, then clearing by afternoon. Scattered showers continuing over the central and eastern parts of the agricultural area and the far south of the Northeast Pastoral during Monday, tending to rain in the southeast in the morning. Isolated showers elsewhere except in the far north. Isolated early morning thunderstorms about the eastern border south of about Yunta on Monday. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, ahead of a cooler moderate southwest to south change over Eyre Peninsula, fresh about the coasts, extending eastwards and reaching eastern parts late this evening.
