Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 16/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A trough is expected to move slowly along the north coast overnight and tomorrow before reaching the far north coast on Friday. A high south of the Bight will move slowly east over the next few days and should be over the southern Tasman Sea by the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayScattered showers and thunderstorms over much of the state. Fine in the far southwest. Southwest to southeast winds extending throughout, fresh along the southern and central coasts.Thursday 17 MarchScattered showers in the north and east. Isolated thunderstorms in the north. Fine in the southwest. South to southeast winds.Friday 18 MarchIsolated to scattered showers in the north and east. Fine over the southwest. Southeast to northeast winds.Saturday 19 MarchScattered showers in the northeast. Isolated showers about the remainder of the north and east and developing in the far west later. Southeast winds.Sunday 20 MarchIsolated showers tending to areas of rain in the west later in the day.
