MELBOURNE - Mar 14/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A low pressure trough currently over the central parts of NSW is expected to move east to be off the north coast by Tuesday. Another trough is likely to move along the southern and central coast on Wednesday while becoming slow moving inland and lingering until the end of the week. A high pressure ridge will build along the coast from late Wednesday and will persist until Friday. Forecast for the rest of MondayDry in the far northern inland. Isolated showers in the remainder, tending scattered with the chance of thunderstorms inland. North to northeast winds in the north, south to southeasterly winds spreading through the remainder.Tuesday 15 MarchIsolated showers over the southern half, chance of showers over the northeast and parts of inland north. The chance of thunderstorms in the southwest. Partly cloudy in the northwest. Southeast to northeast winds.Wednesday 16 MarchPartly cloudy in the far northern inland, mostly sunny in the far southwest. Isolated showers with the chance of thunderstorms elsewhere, showers tending scattered for most of the coast and ranges. Southwest to southeast winds.Thursday 17 MarchIsolated showers in the east tending scattered on the north and central coasts. The chance of showers over parts of northern and central inland. Partly cloudy remainder. South to southeast winds.Friday 18 March Isolated showers in the north and east tending scattered in the northeast. The chance of showers over the remainder.
