MELBOURNE - Mar 9/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Thursday: WARNING SUMMARY: SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray downstream from Lock 2 [Waikerie]. For Enquiries, go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Northeast Pastoral and Flinders districts. Isolated showers over eastern districts, contracting to southern coasts this evening, then clearing by midday. Mainly mild with moderate southerly winds, tending northerly in the far northeast.
