Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 6/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For Monday.
WARNING SUMMARY:
Flood Watch for the Pastoral Districts.
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray downstream
from Lock 2 [Waikerie]. For Enquiries, go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Areas of rain and isolated thunderstorms over the pastoral districts, extending
south over Eyre Peninsula, the Flinders, Mid North, Central, Murraylands and
South East districts during the afternoon and evening. Rain heavy at times over
northern parts of the Pastoral districts and possibly over Lower Eyre Peninsula
and southern parts of the Central district. Isolated showers and possible
thunderstorms developing elsewhere. Warm to hot, though mild in areas of rain,
with light to moderate east to northeast winds ahead of a southerly change
extending across western parts during the day.
