Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 6/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Monday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
Flood Watch for the Pastoral Districts.
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray downstream
from Lock 2 [Waikerie]. For Enquiries, go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Areas of rain and isolated thunderstorms over the far northeast corner of the
Northeast Pastoral, with possible heavy falls, extending to northeast of Marree
today and to east of Coober Pedy and north of Marree during Monday. Isolated
showers and thunderstorms developing elsewhere northeast of Coober Pedy to Leigh
Creek this afternoon, near the western border this  evening then throughout west
of about Leigh Creek to Adelaide to Mt Gambier during Monday. Showers becoming
scattered east of Ceduna during Monday afternoon then tending to areas of rain
in the evening. Warm to hot, though mild in areas of rain, with light to
moderate east to northeast winds ahead of a southerly change in the west on
Monday. Afternoon coastal sea breezes.
