Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 5/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Sunday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
Flood Watch for the Northeast Pastoral District.
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray downstream
from Lock 2 [Waikerie]. For Enquiries, go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Areas of rain over the far northeast corner of the Northeast Pastoral with
possible heavy falls, extending to north of Marree on Sunday. Isolated showers
and thunderstorms extending to northeast of Coober Pedy to Leigh Creek on
Sunday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms developing west of Nullarbor Sunday
evening. Fine elsewhere. Warm to hot with moderate southeast to northeast winds
and afternoon coastal sea breezes.
