MELBOURNE - Feb 23/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high in the eastern Bight extends a ridge along the NSW coast. It is slow-moving and will remain west of Tasmania until about Friday bringing dry, mostly sunny conditions to inland parts of the state. On Saturday it is expected to move over New Zealand, but a ridge will remain over NSW. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges. Fine elsewhere. East to southeast winds, fresh in the north.Thursday 24 FebruaryIsolated showers on the north coast and far northern ranges. Fine elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds on the coast, mostly light and variable over the inland.Friday 25 FebruaryFine conditions throughout. Sunny in most parts though partly cloudy in the southeast.
