MELBOURNE - Feb 23/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Cyclone WARNING for coastal areas from Onslow to Carnarvon and adjacent inland
parts.
Flood Warnings for the Gascoyne and Murchison River catchments.
Flood Watch for the Goldfields.
Wind Warnings for coastal waters from Cape Preston to Kalbarri.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Leeuwin to Albany.
Forecast for Wednesday evening
Pilbara and Gascoyne: Rain and thunderstorms in the west with heavy falls and
strong to gale force winds. Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the
remainder.
Kimberley and Interior: Scattered thunderstorms and showers with moderate to
heavy falls possible.
Central and eastern Goldfields, Eucla and southern Interior: Areas of rain with
isolated thunderstorms, moderate to heavy falls.
Remaining Goldfields: Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Forecast for Thursday
Kimberley: Isolated showers and thunderstorms tending scattered in the north and
west with some heavy falls possible.
Far west Pilbara and adjacent NW Gascoyne: Rain and thunderstorms, heavy falls
and strong to gale force winds. Conditions easing during the morning.
NE Goldfields and Eucla:  Rain areas and isolated thunderstorms. Some heavy
falls.
Remaining Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, the northern Interior and northern
parts of the SW Land Division: Isolated mostly afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms.
Eastern parts of the SW Land Division: Isolated showers.
