Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 17/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Friday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
A Flood Watch has been issued for Friday.
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For
Enquiries go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Rain in the far west today, extended over agricultural areas on Friday. Local
heavy falls are possible on Friday. Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms
on and east of the ranges today. Isolated showers and thunderstorms over
pastoral areas, except the far northeast, scattered in the far northwest today.
Mild to warm in the south, grading to hot to very hot in the far north. Light to
moderate southeast to northeast winds, turning moderate to fresh southwest to
southeasterly with and following the rain band.
