MELBOURNE - Feb 16/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Cyclone Watch for coastal areas from Exmouth to Cape Cuvier.
Flood Warnings for the De Grey River catchment and Pilbara Coastal streams.
Flood Watch for the Gascoyne and Murchison River catchments.
Wind Warnings for coastal waters Barrow Island to Coral Bay.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Naturaliste to Albany.
Forecast for Wednesday evening
Isolated showers and thunderstorms north of a line from about Perth to
Esperance, tending scattered over the Central Wheat Belt,  Goldfields, SW
Interior, Gascoyne and Pilbara with some moderate to heavy falls and flooding
possible. Thunderstorms and showers also tending scattered in the Kimberley and
northwest Interior this afternoon and evening.
Areas of drizzle along remaining parts of the south coast east of Walpole.
Forecast for Thursday
Isolated showers and thunderstorms north of a line from about Geraldton to
Esperance, slowly contracting east to north of a line Geraldton to southern
Cross to Caiguna by the evening, but isolated showers and areas of drizzle
persisting. Showers and thunderstorms tending scattered in the Pilbara,
Gascoyne, Goldfields, SW Interior and Eucla with moderate to heavy falls and
flooding possible. Thunderstorms and showers also tending scattered in the
Kimberley and remaining Interior in the afternoon and evening.
Areas of drizzle and isolated showers about remaining parts of the SW Land
Division apart from the Lower West and SW district.
