MELBOURNE - Feb 15/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Thursday: WARNING SUMMARY: SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For Enquiries go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Fine over Eyre Peninsula and the south of the West Coast and Northwest Pastoral districts south of Tarcoola, isolated showers and thunderstorms elsewhere, contracting to north of about Coober Pedy and east of the Mt Lofty Ranges on Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms scattered this evening in the far northeast. Areas of rain developing in the far west of the West Coast district on Thursday morning then extending across the West Coast during the day. Isolated showers about southern coasts during Thursday. Mild to warm about the southern coasts grading to hot in the north with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, turning moderate to fresh southerly in the west during Thursday.
