MELBOURNE - Feb 12/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for the northwest parts of the state.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Naturaliste to Israelite Bay.
Flood Warning for the Gascoyne River Catchment.
Flood Watch for the Murchison River Catchment.
Forecast for Saturday  evening
Kimberley, northern and western Pilbara, northwest Gascoyne, and northern
Interior: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy falls. In an area
bounded by Denham, Newman, Karratha, Onslow, and Coral Bay, thunderstorms may be
accompanied by very heavy rainfall
conducive to flash flooding and locally damaging winds.
Central Gascoyne, southern Interior, the northeastern half of the Eucla and
central and northern parts of the Central West: Isolated showers and
thunderstorms. Rain areas in the Eucla and Interior.
Near the coast east of Esperance: Areas of drizzle.
Forecast for Sunday
Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, NE Gascoyne, and NW Interior: Scattered showers and
thunderstorms, with heavy falls possible.
Remaining areas north of a line from Kalbarri to Dalwallinu to Warburton:
Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Eastern Goldfields, southern Interior, and Eucla: Rain areas and isolated
thunderstorms.
Eastern parts of the SW Land Division, and the remaining parts of the
Goldfields: Areas of drizzle, clearing for a period during the afternoon.
