Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 11/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Naturaliste to Esperance.
Flood Warning for the Gascoyne River Catchment.
Severe Thunderstorm Warning through central parts of the state.
Forecast for Friday    evening
Kimberley, south and east Pilbara, Gascoyne, and the northwest Interior:
Scattered showers and thunderstorms with some heavy falls. In an area bounded by
Jurien Bay, Paynes Find, Wiluna, Warburton, Telfer, Paraburdoo and Denham,
thunderstorms may be accompanied by very heavy rainfall conducive to flash
flooding and locally damaging winds.
Remaining areas north of a line from Lancelin to Kellerberrin to Leonora to
Eucla: Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Southern and southeastern parts of the SW Land Division and the remainder of the
Goldfields and Eucla: Areas of drizzle near the coast, and extending inland
during the evening.
Forecast for Saturday
Kimberley, northern and western Pilbara, NW Gascoyne, and northern Interior:
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy falls possible.
Remaining areas north of a line from Lancelin to Meekatharra to Menzies to Eyre:
Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Southern and southeastern parts of the SW Land Division, southern Goldfields and
the remaining parts of the Eucla: Areas of drizzle, contracting to the coast
east of Esperance in the afternoon.
