Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 10/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Naturaliste to Albany.
Flood Warning for the Gascoyne River Catchment.
Severe Thunderstorm Warning through central parts of the state.
Forecast for Friday
Kimberley, south and east Pilbara, Gascoyne, northwest Interior and the northern
Central West district: Scattered showers and thunderstorms with some heavy
falls. In an area bounded by Jurien Bay, Kellerberrin, Warburton, Telfer,
Paraburdoo and Denham, thunderstorms may be accompanied by very heavy rainfall
conducive to flash flooding and locally damaging winds.
Remaining areas north of a line from Lancelin to Kellerberrin to Leonora to
Forrest: Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Southern and southeastern parts of the SW Land Division and the remainder of the
Goldfields and Eucla: Areas of drizzle, contracting to the southern and Eucla
coasts in the afternoon.

Kimberley, northern and western Pilbara, NW Gascoyne, and northern Interior:
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy falls possible.
Remaining areas north of a line from Jurien Bay to Meekatharra to Menzies to
Eyre: Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Southern and southeastern parts of the SW Land Division, southern Goldfields and
the remaining parts of the Eucla: Areas of drizzle, contracting to the coast
east of Esperance in the afternoon.
