Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 6/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For the rest of today and Tuesday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
A Severe Weather Warning is current for the Northwest Pastoral.
A Flood Watch is current for the Pastoral districts.
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For
Enquiries go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au.
A Strong Wind Warning is current for the Far West and West Coasts.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Areas of rain over the Northwest Pastoral north of Woomera and the far north of
the West Coast district today, contracting to the western border area early
Tuesday before easing during the morning. Local heavy falls and possible
flooding during Monday. Patchy rain over the remainder west of Oodnadatta to
Woomera to Ceduna today with isolated showers over the remainder north of
Streaky Bay to Broken Hill. Isolated showers contracting north and west on
Tuesday to be confined to the Northwest Pastoral by the afternoon. Isolated
thunderstorms north of about Coober Pedy. Fine elsewhere. Cool to mild on the
coast and over the interior, mild to warm elsewhere. Moderate to fresh southeast
to east winds, strong about western coasts, and fresh to strong east to
northeast in the far northwest.
