MELBOURNE - Feb 6/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Monday: WARNING SUMMARY: A Severe Weather Warning is current for the Northwest Pastoral. A Flood Watch is current for the Pastoral districts. SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For Enquiries go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au. A Strong Wind Warning is current for the Far West and West Coasts. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Areas of rain with local heavy falls and possible flooding over the Northwest Pastoral north of Woomera. Patchy rain over the remainder of the Pastoral districts west of Oodnadatta and over the West Coast district north of Ceduna. Isolated showers over the remainder north of Hawker and isolated thunderstorms near the northern border. Fine over the remainder. Cool to mild on the coast and over the interior, mild to warm elsewhere. Moderate to fresh southeast winds, strong about western coasts, tending strong east to northeast in the far northwest.
