Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 5/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough and associated cold front over Victoria will continue moving eastwards and clear the state early this morning. A high pressure system will then develop south of Western Australia and extend a ridge over Victoria on Sunday and Monday. The high will be located near Tasmania on Tuesday then over the Tasman Sea on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayScattered showers in the east and south at first, becoming isolated then clearing late afternoon. Cool south to southwesterly winds extending throughout.Fire Danger -  High in the northwest.Monday 7 FebruaryFine apart from coastal drizzle developing later in the day. Cool to mild with light to moderate southerly winds.Tuesday 8 FebruaryFine in the north. Isolated drizzle in the south clearing during the the morning. A cool to mild day with a light to moderate south to southeasterly wind.Wednesday 9 FebruaryFine. Mild to warm with light to moderate easterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Sunday.Product IDV10310
