Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 5/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For the rest of today and Monday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is current for the Pastoral districts.
A Flood Watch is current for the Pastoral districts.
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For
Enquiries go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au.
A Strong Wind Warning is current for the Far West, West and South Central
Coasts.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Areas of rain over the Pastoral districts, with local heavy falls and possible
flooding, contracting to the Northwest Pastoral district on Monday. Scattered
showers and patchy rain over the remainder of the Pastoral and Flinders
districts north of Hawker, extending into the far north of the West Coast
district this evening and on Monday. Isolated gusty thunderstorms north of Leigh
Creek, contracting to the northern border area on Monday. Fine over the
remainder apart from isolated light early showers over Kangaroo Island and the
Lower South East, clearing this afternoon. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh
southwest to southeast winds, strong at times near western coasts and over the
Northwest Pastoral. Winds also tending fresh to strong northeast to southeast
near the northern border.
