Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 5/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning for damaging winds for people south of a line Gingin to
Harvey, including the Perth Hills and foothills for Saturday night and early
Sunday morning.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters Carnarvon to Albany and from Eyre to the
SA Border.
Fire Weather Warning for the Central West district, Lower West districts
including the Perth Metropolitan area and the Mortlock and Ninghan sub districts
of the Central Wheat Belt for Saturday.
Fire Weather Warning for the Central West district, Lower West districts
including the Perth Metropolitan area and throughout the Central Wheatbelt for
Sunday.
Forecast for Saturday  evening
Kimberley: Scattered showers and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy falls
possible extending to the northern Interior during the evening.
Pilbara, apart from the far west, northeast Gascoyne and northern Interior:
Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
South coast east of Albany: Isolated drizzle developing.
Winds becoming fresh to strong and gusty SE winds across the southern half of
the state.

Kimberley, north and east Pilbara and northern Interior: Scattered showers and
thunderstorms.
West Pilbara and West Gascoyne and the northern parts of the Central West:
Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
