Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 4/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For the rest of today and Sunday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is current.
A Flood Watch is current for the Pastoral, Northern Agricultural and Murray
districts.
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For
Enquiries go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au.
Grape Growers in the Clare, Barossa and Riverland areas are advised that
conditions during Saturday are likely to be conducive to Downy Mildew.
A Strong Wind Warning is current for all South Australian coastal waters.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Areas of rain and isolated gusty thunderstorms over the Pastoral and Flinders
districts and most of the northern agricultural area, with some heavy falls and
possible flooding, slowly contracting to north of Renmark to Tarcoola by this
evening and north of Broken HIll to Woomera by Sunday.  Showers heavy at times
with isolated thunderstorms and possible flooding north east of Leigh Creek to
Coober Pedy on Sunday, with thunderstorms becoming scattered during the
afternoon and evening. Isolated showers over the southern agricultural areas and
Far West Coast until late evening today. Isolated showers contracting to south
of Kingscote to Naracoorte, clearing by evening on Sunday, with isolated morning
showers on the coast west of Nullarbor. Mostly cool to mild today with
temperatures becoming mild to warm in the north and along the west coast on
Sunday. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeast winds, strong at times near the
coast and in the Northwest Pastoral district. Winds tending northerly over much
of the Northeast Pastoral, turning south to southeasterly by Sunday evening,
fresh to strong in the north.
