MELBOURNE - Feb 2/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Mandurah to Cape Leeuwin.
Severe Thunderstorm Warning in an area bounded by Kalgoorlie, Laverton,
Leinster, Mount Magnet, Merredin, Southern Cross, and Kalgoorlie.
Forecast for Wednesday evening
Kimberley and Pilbara: Isolated showers and thunderstorms, tending scattered
over the southwest Kimberley and the central and eastern Pilbara. Possible heavy
falls.
Eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Central Wheat Belt and the Interior: Isolated
showers and thunderstorms. With thunderstorms heavy rainfall conducive to flash
flooding, large hail, and dangerous wind gusts possible.
Forecast for Thursday
SE Coastal, and the adjacent Goldfields and Eucla: Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms, Moderate falls possible.
Kimberley, Pilbara, central and eastern Gascoyne, Interior, remaining parts of
the Goldfields and Eucla: Isolated showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the
afternoon and evening.
Inland Central West, far NE Lower West, Central Wheat Belt, and the NE Great
Southern: Isolated showers and thunderstorms, mainly afternoon and evening.
Western south coast: Isolated evening areas of drizzle.
