MELBOURNE - Jan 28/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Saturday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
The SES has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for most of South Australia.
A Strong Wind Warning is current for the Far West and West Coasts for Friday.
A Fire Weather Warning is current.
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For

SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Dry apart from possible showers and thunderstorms over the far north this
afternoon. A mild to warm evening, hot in the north. Temperatures becoming hot
to very hot throughout on Saturday. Moderate to fresh southeast to northeast
winds and fresh to strong afternoon sea breezes, easing on Saturday.
