MELBOURNE - Jan 27/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Tropical Cyclone Wind Warnings for coastal waters from Cape Preston to
Carnarvon.
Fire Weather Warning for the Inland Central West, Central Wheat Belt, north and
east Great Southern.
Forecast for Friday
West Pilbara and NW Gascoyne: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Fresh to
strong winds, gradually moderating.
Kimberley, northern Interior and adjacent Pilbara: Squally thunderstorms and
showers.
Southwest, Great Southern, South and Southeast Coastal and southeast of the
Goldfields: Isolated thunderstorms and showers, easing for a period in the
morning.
Lower West: Isolated thunderstorms and showers developing in the east in the
afternoon.
Eucla: Isolated thunderstorms and showers in the west, clearing during the
morning.
Remainder of the state: Isolated gusty thunderstorms and showers developing the
afternoon.
